Not all Daikin installs are Daikin installs.
Any HVAC contractor can technically buy Daikin equipment and drop it in a home. What separates an authorized dealer from an unauthorized one is manufacturer registration — which is the gate on the long-warranty program.
When RJM installs a Daikin system, we register it directly with Daikin under your name. That triggers the full parts warranty (up to 12 years) and, on Fit and premium models, the unit-replacement warranty. If the same equipment is installed without registration, none of that applies.
