How our warranties work
When you choose RJM Systems for a new system install, we issue Lifetime Warranties covering the workmanship of our installation. They apply to the original purchaser for as long as you own the residence where the work was performed, with an active RJM ProCare Membership to keep the system properly maintained.
The warranties are separate from — and in addition to — the manufacturer’s warranty on the equipment itself. Equipment defects are handled directly by the manufacturer (we register every install for you, so coverage stays valid). Workmanship defects are handled by us.
We can offer this because of how we install. We size equipment to your home, seal and reinforce ductwork, and verify performance after startup. Most installation failures come from skipped commissioning steps — steps we don’t skip.
- Installation workmanship — for as long as you own your home, with active RJM ProCare membership
- Defects caused by how the equipment was installed
- Connection, sealing, and ductwork transitions we performed
- Refrigerant charge or commissioning errors
- Re-installation labor if we determine a part needs replacement under this warranty
- Manufacturer equipment defects (covered separately by manufacturer warranty)
- Consumables: filters, batteries, light bulbs
- Equipment we did not install
- Damage from abuse, misuse, neglect, or unauthorized modifications
- Damage from Acts of God (floods, lightning, storms)
- Systems where required permit inspections were not finalized
- Failure to perform manufacturer-required maintenance
